Are Dogs Allowed on 30A Beaches?
Most vacationers cannot bring dogs onto public Gulf beaches along 30A.
Walton County limits dog-beach permits to permanent residents and Walton County property owners. Under the current ordinance, approved permit holders may bring leashed dogs onto public beaches between 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. Service animals are permitted according to applicable law. (Walton County)

For visitors who want their dog to experience the Gulf shoreline, the closest designated public option is the Dog Beach at Russell-Fields City Pier in Panama City Beach.

Located on Hogtown Bayou, Cessna Landing Park is one of the most convenient public bay-access areas near 30A.
